Cheryl Whitfield

Mrs. Cheryl Whitfield has taught for almost 50 years. She received her undergraduate from Wichita State University and graduate degree from Ashland University and Lincoln University. Her decades of experience include having taught at Jefferson Elementary in Wichita, Kansas; Franklin and Whittier Elementaries in Massillon, Ohio; and within the Canton City School District. She has obtained support roles in the education field, among them working as a Teacher’s Coach when she moved to Georgia in 2004.

A few fun facts about Mrs. Whitfield are that she is a master gardener, loves painting, and has visited 30 continental states in addition to Canada and Mexico. She is a third-generation teacher, and her mother was a teacher to the infamous Michael Jackson.

Mrs. Whitfield currently teaches kindergarten in Atlanta, Georgia, and shares her passion for science.
